Public Administration

In this course, students will examine the structure and main features of Indigenous and non-Indigenous government administration in Canada. This course will also examine the current conditions for Indigenous governments in Canada today, including the role of treaties, the Indian Act, public inquiries, and Indigenous institutions themselves. ** Students may register for one or more of the courses within the Indigenous Governance and Public Administration Program without applying to the program. However in order to receive the program credential students must apply to the program and meet admission requirements. Students must have access to an iOS device (preferably iPad) as each course will have a multi-touch iBook.
