Indigenous Governance

Understand the depth and complexities involved in Indigenous governance from an Indigenous perspective. This course reviews and compares different forms of governing structures from both a historical and contemporary context. It explores four major themes of history and structure, issues in Indigenous governance, Indigenous knowledge systems, and applications of Indigenous governance. **Students may register for one or more of the courses within the Indigenous Governance and Public Administration Program without applying to the program. However in order to receive the program credential students must apply to the program and meet admission requirements. Students must have access to an iOS device (preferably iPad) as each course will have a multi-touch iBook.
