Expression and Voice

This course provides learners with opportunities to develop the writing skills necessary to present ideas and information in a concise, well-organized format. Within an active workshop environment, learners develop an understanding of writing as a multi-stage process with an emphasis on developing prewriting, revising, and editing strategies. Through exposure to a range of creative writing activities, learners are invited both to increase their appreciation of different writing styles and to develop their own unique writing voices.
