Negahneewin Leadership Self and Identity
This course will provide learners with a theoretical and practical foundation from which to explore the concepts of selfhood and identity as essential to leadership. Learners will discuss the formation of identity within the nexus of culture, with particular attention to the Indigenous awareness of land as essential to self knowledge. Models of selfhood presented will contrast the individual with the self-in-relationship, and will be framed by a multi-disciplinary discussion of personality development and self-reflection.
