The World Now

This course looks at what is happening in the world right now, including wars, political and social movements. World security issues are examined, including terrorism, the global arms trade and global crime. The course also looks at environmental issues, poverty and inequality, the global refugee crisis and the spread of infectious diseases – including diseases that can cause a pandemic.
