International Human Resources
This course examines some of the international human resource strategies, policies, and practices required in companies that engage in global business activities. Students will examine the differences between domestic and international human resource management with particular emphasis placed on: the preparation of staff for successful international assignments; travel health and safety issues; effective staff recruitment, selection, and training; critical compensation and benefits considerations for expatriates; and performance management of staff while abroad.
