Collective Bargaining

This course is an in-depth study of the collective bargaining process between management and labour. Emphasis will be placed on the practical procedures to be followed in the collective bargaining process. These include strategies, information tactics, tactics of persuasion, back-to-work protocol, and methods of costing the agreement. Special emphasis will be on the definition and understanding of common clauses in a collective agreement and their significance to the parties.
