The student registered in this introductory course in Human Resource Management will answer one central question: How do employers obtain, develop, utilize, evaluate, maintain and retain an effective work force? During this overview of some fundamental activities associated with the management of human resources, the student will outline a few of the major provisions in employment law focusing on an Ontario perspective.
