Essential Math-Cost Control I

This course provides the learner with a working knowledge of basic mathematics essential to one’s success in the hospitality industry. Students explore math as it utilized in front and back of the house hospitality operations. Students will practice recipe calculations, cash transactions and basic guest accounting. Topics covered include ratios, percent calculations, metric and imperial conversions
