The Changing Workplace

This course is designed to prepare the students to compete for the jobs, which will be available, when they enter the workplace. The student will learn job search techniques, create letters and a resume. The student will learn to use the Internet effectively and examine current workplace legislation and practices such as WHMIS, Occupational Health and Safety, Worker Rights, Canada Pension and HRDC benefits. This course places emphasis on planning to meet deadlines and working individually towards a goal.
