Field Placement Seminar 1

Taken concurrently with the field placement course, the seminar is designed to support students in maximizing their learning from field while at the same time developing key components of a professional practice. Students will have the opportunity to apply critical thinking skills and reflective thinking skills as they engage in professional learning communities focused on their field placement experience. They will learn interviewing skills through a unit that culminates in a mock interview process as part one of their preparation for the hiring process. A final focus is the continued development of the e-portfolio.
