From interactive whiteboards to 3D printing, current and emerging technology supports the development of 21st century learning skills that are the “new basics” for education in Ontario schools. This course examines the use of technology with a focus on establishing a basic technology skill set as well as an attitude of lifelong learning. Assignments focus on the application of this skill set by asking students to review websites and software, demonstrate accessibility features and create tutorials on new applications.
