Data Acquisitions Signal Conditioning
The Data Acquisition/Signal Conditioning theory course allows the student to widen his/her knowledge base to include analog and digital signal conditioning, conversion and processing techniques using integrated circuits found in microprocessor/microcontroller systems. The successful student will gain detailed knowledge of how analog and digital process signals are generated, transmitted and converted while maintaining maximum data integrity. Additionally, board level industrial control design will be studied. This will range from the design of the circuit boards themselves, utilizing the information acquired by chip study above, to the interconnection of the boards into a working industrial system.
