EL-547
Microprocessor Systems Lab II
This course provides the hands-on experience of the theory covered in EL 546. The student is required to connect microprocessor based hardware and write supporting assembly language software, at first using no development aids, then using a software development system, including an in-circuit emulator. The student will also be required to analyze schematics of existing hardware to such a degree that he/she will be able to produce supporting software. This will enable the successful student to become proficient in the analysis and design, troubleshooting and program debugging of digital microelectronics control systems. Additionally, the student will program and test a PLD for a custom application.
