Microprocessor Systems II
The Microprocessor Systems course will teach the student the detailed architecture of the PIC18F452 microcontroller; how to access various memory types to the PIC; how to interface different internal and external peripheral devices to the PIC; to learn detailed schematic production and analysis; and how to design and layout PIC18F452 microcontroller based printed circuit boards. Additionally, the student will be required to program the PIC18F452 based industrial control system to perform useful real-world tasks by utilizing an assortment of peripheral chips and interfaces. Digital Signal Processors (DSP) are introduced at the end of the course.
