Industrial Computer Applications

This course covers microprocessor architecture from an industrial point of view. The student works with microprocessor systems at a detailed level with a minimum of software/hardware development tools.Topics covered will be general computer architecture, microprocessor architecture, instruction set, I/0 handling, instruction timing, programming and interfacing to digital I/O devices.
