EI-632
Instrumentation and Process Control
This course introduces the student to the principles and ideas of process monitoring, recording and control. The student will learn how to calculate and measure electrical parameters such as voltage, current, and resistance; and how they relate to process measurement. Several different sensing techniques for a variety of processes relevant to the environment are discussed and explored experimentally, as well as the techniques involved with controlling these processes.
