Field School

Upon completion of this course, students will have a practical understanding of select biophysical and geological aspects of our local environment. Emphasis will be placed on the science of glacial, and periglacial processes, sediments and landforms. Standardize techniques for field sampling of water, soils, biotic and mineral resources will be utilized. Competency will be developed in how to apply this knowledge for assessing environmental impacts.
