Guidance II

Students will examine a more in depth approach in the use of direct and indirect guidance strategies. Using observation and reflection, students will be encouraged to think intentionally about the choices they make in guiding children's behaviour. Strategies that develop children's perseverance, coping skills and resiliency will be discussed. At the end of this course, students will develop their own philosophy of child guidance.
