Play-Based Practices II

In this course, students will study elements of early learning environments that encourage exploration, play and inquiry. Students will have opportunities to examine and practice scaffolding techniques to create meaningful extensions for language and literacy, math and science learning. Students will learn how to use pedagogical documentation and reflection to make decisions on how to scaffold and extend children's play. Nature, outdoor play and gross motor development will be explored.
