Intro to ECE/Play-Based Learn

In this course, students will be introduced to scope and features of the field of Early Childhood Education. An examination of the historical roots as well as current trends, including legislation and the role of the College of Early Childhood Educators in Ontario will be discussed. Students will also examine the importance of play and play-based learning as it relates to early childhood education.
