Storyboard & Character Development

Great stories win hearts and minds, which is key to building outstanding digital media content. In this course, students will be introduced to the art of storytelling, learning how to develop compelling characters that people will care about. We will begin to look at character goals, needs, psychology and background, all of which are key story drivers. Students will explore traditional and digital storyboard techniques and script writing to learn the basics of developing structured content, no matter what the final medium.
