Pain Management for the Dental Hygienist

This course is intended to provide a foundational knowledge for administering local anesthetics. The theory portion of the course is a self-study to prepare for preclinical practice on a model for injections and on each other for injection sites. Once theory is successfully completed, students will be scheduled for clinical sessions to participate in exercises with a partner and on a model.
