Culturally Informed Assessment and Intervention
This course examines current assessment and intervention practices with attention to their impacts on Indigenous and diverse groups. The learner will apply a strength-based, ecological, developmental approach to assessment and intervention to case examples. Further, learners will demonstrate essential competencies in this area by completing an assessment plan in a fictionalized case study, then role-playing an intervention using one of several models discussed in class.
