Therapeutic Intervention III:Aggression

This course is designed to increase awareness of 'self' with respect to personal reactions to aggression in order to provide effective life space intervention. In doing so, it is hoped the CYC professional will learn to maintain a relationally responsive approach toward the child/youth when working within this challenging practice dynamic. Further, this course is also designed to provide the CYC professional with theoretical knowledge regarding the developmental needs of this particular client population and best practice information regarding responding to aggression within the life space.
