World of Food and Wine

This course will provide the student with a basic understanding of wines, spirits, and liqueurs. Students will explore basic mixology and handling, storage, tasting and service of wine from around the world. Successful pairing of wine with food as well as the use of alcohol in cooking and food preparation will also be examined.
