Seminar 2 Skills for Life and Work

This course is designed to facilitate the growth of the student into a well-rounded, competent employee. By meeting as a group, the students will discuss their experiences in the field. Students will also discuss current issues and trends facing employees in the work world. Topics will include solving problems, communicating effectively, discrimination and harassment, coping, and having fun in the workplace. Students will also begin to build pre-employment related skills including job searching strategies, analyzing job ads, creating a resume, and preparing for a job interview.
