Environmental Sustainability

This course focuses on the legal, ethical and moral issues associated with Civil Engineering and its impacts on the environment. A close examination will be made of the environmental assessment process including the socio/economic effects. Students will also review official plan and zoning controls from the perspective of their efforts to protect natural heritage resources.
