Soils Mechanics II

This course is designed as a continuation of Soil Mechanics CE350. The student will gain knowledge of methods of determining subsurface stresses, of consolidation theory and testing, of calculating settlement of structures, of shear strength theory and testing, and of pressures and forces on retaining walls.
