Hydrology

The student will study the nature of gravity flow in pipes, open channels and culverts using computer techniques. This will be based upon the principles of the hydrological cycle to determine flood/design flows. As part of these studies, students will consider the effects of this flow on erosion and sediment and storm water quantities and quality.
