Construction Planning

This course covers the theories and principles of estimating and quantity survey techniques. Students will learn how to interpret construction drawings and specifications to perform quantity takeoffs and move through the bidding procedure for a completed tender. The role of software in this process will be explored. The student will also look at planning in terms of bonds, insurance, tracking, job costing, and execution of construction projects.
