Hydraulics

This course is designed as a practical introduction to the study of fluid mechanics as it applies to Civil Engineering Technology. The student will gain knowledge of the properties of fluids, hydrostatics, buoyancy and relative equilibrium of liquids, and pressure flow. Commercial software will be used to assess and investigate orifices and weirs, pressure flow and pressure piping systems.
