Psychopharmacology

In this course, students will examine pharmacological theory from the recovery model perspective. Students will be introduced to basic neuroanatomy and neurophysiology, pharmacological principles, and theory related to the abuse of common substances. Emphasis will be placed on the role of front line workers in the provision of interdisciplinary care to those with mental health and addiction challenges.
