Communcation Planning II
A successful communications plan contributes to the achievement of an organization's mission and guides the implementation of key strategies. Strategic communications plans are developed based on their environment and also facilitate change of that environment. This course leads students through the process of devising and implementing a strategic communications plan, taking into account corporate communications practices. Through research, analysis and discussion, students will develop an understanding of audiences and key messages for public awareness, social marketing or education campaigns. Students will write goals and objectives that will shape the plan and address identified needs. After examining various communications tools and resources, students will develop specific strategies to meet goals and objectives and create a plan budget.
