Empowerment and Learning: Personal Management and Critical Thinking Skills II

This course provides students with opportunities to develop effective personal management and interpersonal communications kills. Students acquire an understanding of interpersonal communication theory and, through exposure to specific communication techniques, are encouraged to develop the skills needed to initiate and mange interactions with others. Through an examination of specific reasoning strategies and contemporary Aboriginal issues, students are challenged to extend their critical-thinking skills.
