Anishinaabe Culture and the Land 1
In the course, students will focus on the Anishinaabe holistic experiential way of life including both contemporary and traditional practices. Through observation, listening and practicing, students will discover how the spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical connects to the well-being of the individual and the cultural group of the community and land. New vocabulary is introduced through the identification and discussion of values, beliefs, survival skills, harvesting, medicinal values and edible food.
