AF-150
Human Factors
This course is designed to increase awareness and understanding of the human factors involved in the aviation industry. It does this in two ways: It examines the human factors involved in risk and the different levels of risk management. It also examines stress and other medical facts as they pertain to performance in an aircraft. The possibility of accident or incidents as a result of pilot error should be minimized as the student will have the opportunity to examine his/her current values and behaviours. This course also encourages a healthy lifestyle so that the student will be able to withstand the demanding physical stress of commercial flying.
