This course is a continuation of AC 453. Financial accounting provides information primarily for decision makers outside the entity. Specialized areas such as complex debt and equity instruments, accounting for corporate income tax and for tax losses, leases, post-employment benefits, earnings per share, and accounting changes will be studied.
