Pharmacology for Paramedics

This course is designed for the paramedic student to develop skill, proficiency and understanding of common prescription, over-the counter, and Primary Care Paramedic scope of practice medications. Learning will be based around drug classifications and indications, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, drug safety and dosage calculations, and legal responsibilities of the paramedic during drug administration. Advanced Care Paramedic scope of practice medications will also be explored.
