Communication for Paramedics I

In this course, students will develop their oral and written communication skills. Students will learn medical terminology, the principles of accurate report writing, patient interview techniques and practice effective listening and communication skills. Students will also gain the knowledge and the ability to assess, plan and intervene appropriately and effectively regarding operational communication, interprofessional collaboration and patient interactions.
