Sheena Zegil

Hello, my name is Sheena.

I was born in Thunder Bay and loved growing up in the outdoors on Lake Superior with endless opportunities to explore and experience everything our beautiful region has to offer.

I have a passion for health & fitness, travel, culture, meeting new people and new experiences! Whether I’m spending time with friends, family, running after my two Siamese cats or searching out adventures, I always find time to learn new things and help others whenever I can.

These interests lead me to pursue a diploma in Travel & Tourism – Ecotourism from Confederation College, an Honours Bachelor of Social Work Degree from Lakehead University and become a student Recruitment Officer for Confederation College over the last 8 years!

As a Recruiter, I have had the opportunity to create many wonderful relationships with people in the community, region and across the province.

My career has included public speaking, academic advising, travel, and planning a variety of small to large scale events for students, teachers, faculty, parents/guardians, community members, 24 Ontario Colleges and more.

Most importantly what I truly love most about my job is helping others navigate the post-secondary world to reach a career they are passionate about!
