Intro to Trades-Machine Shop

This hands-on fun and interactive one week trades camp introduces young students to basics of machining. This camp will introduce students to the safe use of a drill press, lathe, metal saw etc., to create fun take home projects. The Intro to Trades- Machine Shop Summer Camp is an introduction to a career in the Trades in a fun and interesting way. Instructor Bob Guertin. THIS COURSE IS ONLY AVAILABLE AT THE RAINY RIVER DISTRICT CAMPUS IN FORT FRANCES. FOR YOUTH BORN BETWEEN 2011 AND 2015 NOTE: Confederation College, the RRDSB and OYAP are committed to ensuring all students have the opportunity to explore skilled trades.
