Emergency Communication System (SAFE Campus)

In the case of an emergency, such as a “Shelter in Place”; a “Hold and Secure”; or a “Lockdown”, important emergency messages will be communicated over the College's Emergency Communications System.

The Confederation College Emergency Communications System, connecting a network of phones with speaker capability, a series of speakers located throughout the main campus buildings and a series of exterior speakers, is a public address system used to deliver emergency messages to the College community.

  • The Help! Phones located in corridors and the Classroom Help! Phones, are part of the Confederation College Emergency Communications System.
  • The Help! Phones and Classroom Help! Phones provide two-way emergency communications.
  • It is important that these phones not be disconnected at any time.
