What is a Work Placement?

Work Placements compliment and reinforce classroom learning through on-the-job-training. Employers benefit by having additional, unpaid staff that are:

  • Highly skilled
  • Motivated and eager to learn
  • Innovative
  • Seeking challenges

The student will demonstrate competence in performing the work tasks assigned by the employer for a set period, five days per week, full-time business hours of the organization. Payment for placement is at the discretion of the employer.
