This is an exciting time for social change and for partnership building between Indigenous and Canadian societies. We can set new foundations to forge relationships of respect and responsibility.

Indigenous organizations are growing, as both rural and urban communities develop the political and social capacity for governance of their societies.  Canadian organizations are also realizing the need to have qualified workers who can understand and negotiate with Indigenous clients and partners.

As a result, there is a demand for workers with the knowledge and skills to understand the aspirations of Indigenous societies and the need to negotiate, explore relationships and ways for us to work together.

Whether you are interested in community service programs, law and security, mining or environmental careers, you will likely find yourself working with and for Indigenous peoples.  Being knowledgeable about historic and contemporary issues will give you a competitive advantage in the workplace.

There are many courses to choose from and course delivery is flexible allowing you to complete the certificate as part of your electives, or part time or full time, online or in class.

Join us in this exciting learning journey as we embark on changing relationships with one another.
