Hello, and welcome to Confederation College!photo - President Jim Madder

I consider myself very fortunate to be able to come to work each day and interact with our incredible students and dedicated staff. We support students by providing an exceptional educational experience delivered through and with the use of the latest in technology by exceptional faculty, across 9 campuses spread throughout the northwest.

For those entering college directly from high school, these are exceptionally important years in terms of academic and personal development. Our goal is to prepare students for life. We nurture interests outside of the classroom through sports, clubs and social events. You will also find a global village right here with international students attending from around the world as well as Indigenous students from northern remote regions. We provide a welcoming and respectful place for the widely diverse population we serve that adds immensely to our culturally vibrant campus life

Confederation College is also important for those returning to school to expand their skills and knowledge or pursue a new career.  Whether full or part time, mornings or evenings, in class or online, we provide education and training that can be accommodated to your schedule and your pace.

Our community partners are an important part of our students’ success. These partners play a key role in helping to ensure the programming we provide is current and relevant to today’s workplace. The dedication of the community through donations, bursaries, sponsorships, placements and participation is a valuable aspect of providing students with the supports that are so vital to their success.

Confederation College is more than the 60 programs we offer.   We also serve those who wish to pursue education through academic upgrading, apprenticeship, continuing education and contract training.  We are a community dedicated to learning and to sharing and celebrating our achievements. It is proven each day that we do help make dreams a reality and that education at Confederation does change lives through learning.
