The International Education Centre facilitates our student exchange programs. Confederation College students have the opportunity to study abroad at one of our partner colleges or universities, and students from these partner institutions have the opportunity to come to Canada and attend courses at Confederation College.
Students continue to pay fees to their home institution, are not charges international fees and can study at a partner school for one semester. Exchange students are responsible for their own overseas airfare, accommodations and living expenses (some scholarships may be available).
Pre-approved courses studied abroad may count as credits and transfer back to Confederation College. A copy of the course transcript must be requested and then approved in advance by the program coordinator at Confederation College
To qualify, Confederation students must have:
- successfully completed one full year of their academic program
- a minimum of 60% average GPA (grade point average)
- approval from their Program Coordinator
All applications must be processed through the International Education Centre.
