How does the Negahneewin Reading Series work?

The Reading Series is like any other book club. We all collectively read the book and then meet to discuss. However, we recognize that everyone has constraints on their time so you are not required to attend all meetings. Come to as many or as few as you would like. We only ask that you register ahead of time so we can plan our meetings accordingly.

Do you provide the books?

We have a limited number of books that we will give to people who register on a first come, first serve basis. The library will also have a few copies of each book on reserve. If you prefer to buy your own copy please feel free to do so.

How do I register?

Registration is through Eventbrite.  See registration links next to book club titles down below, or watch for the links being posted on the Staff News Portal.

Who can participate?

All staff and faculty are welcome to participate. Sorry, the Negahneewin Reading Series is not open to students.

How can staff in the region be included?

Regional staff please register. We will make sure that books are sent to regional participants if available. Connections will be made through Centra.

What is the Reading Series schedule?
