Summer Job Experience Program - header graphic

Step 1. Qualification for the Summer Job Experience Program

The following criteria must be met in order to qualify to apply for Student Summer Employment 2016:

  1. Must be a full-time post secondary student at Confederation College in the 2015-16 academic year (minimum - attending entire winter 2016 semester). *Full-time is defined as having a minimum 60% course load, or 40% if you have a permanent disability.
  2. Must be returning to Confederation College as a full-time post secondary student in September 2016.
  3. Must demonstrate financial need.
  4. This program is for students between academic years, therefore, students cannot be enrolled full time during the May - August period

Step 2. Confirmation of Enrollment and Financial Need

Print and submit the Confirmation of Enrollment and Financial Need form (DOC) to the Financial Aid Office. This form is also available from the Hub, SUCCI or the Human Resources Services Office.

Step 3. Financial Need Assessment Form

Print and submit the Financial Need Assessment Form (DOC) to the Financial Aid Office. This form is also available from the Hub, SUCCI, or the Human Resources Services office.

NOTE: you DO NOT need to complete this form if you were in receipt of OSAP funding or approved for the Institutionally Funded Work Study Program in the 2015-16 academic year.

Step 4. Approval

Once you have been approved, you will be sent a link to the job application form.
