Mike Moore is a faculty member in the School of Business, Hospitality and Media Arts. With over 30 years experience in both industry and media education, Mike brings his technical savvy and genuine curiosity for the media industry with all its technological changes. Mike worked in the industry as a Live Director locally, as well as with TSN bringing Thunder Wolves hockey to an expanded audience. He is truly a Swiss army knife with experience in audio, camera, lighting, producing and as a National Award winning editor, with the First News promotion. Mike also took the leadership role in middle management making sure deadlines were met and the team was trained. While in the industry Mike worked with National companies such as; McKim Communications Group, Manitoba Rolling Mills and Provincial Liberal Election, as well as several local commercial clients in Thunder Bay, Ontario which speaks to his diverse skills and interests, from corporate videos, commercials to full campaign(s). There is not any part of the media industry he has not dabbled in.
Mike has been a content creator throughout his career working in a variety of environments of the Media industry from concept to completion. Mike is one of the seasoned media faculty in the new Digital Media Production program.
